Our Spherical Bearing kit is is all made here in Utah with the exception of the bearings themselves which come from FK in Connecticut. The bearings are stainless ball and race for corrosion resistance and a Teflon liner for wear resistance and quiet low friction operation. The bearing housings are all Type 2 anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and the 'cone spacers' are also Type 2 anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. The upper through pins (where applicable) are 17-4 PH stainless steel for high strength, great fatigue properties and high corrosion resistance. Our kit replaces all 18 bushings with beautiful 6061 T6 aluminum sleeves, anodized Pfadt orange and laser etched with our logo and part numbers. The bearings are held in place with military grade Loctite 638 and retaining clips - they are actually easier to install then polyurethane bushings. It takes about 108 individual bits to make one 18-piece kit. We do most of the work for you, so all you need to do is the install.
